A Celebration of black excellence
Since 2015, JMLBA has partnered with local BLSA chapters to host the Annual Gala - a celebration of Black excellence in Central Ohio. This elegant affair commemorates our community’s continued commitment to diversity, excellence in the legal profession, and improvement to the quality of life in the greater Columbus area. This is an event you do not want to miss. Put on your creative formal wear and join us in the celebration of excellence!
The Annual Gala is the signature fundraiser for JMLBA.
Beginning in 2025, a portion of all sponsorship funds shall be alloted to the john mercer langston bar foundation (JMLBF) to Support our law student scholarship fund, and sponsor community outreach programs and seminars.
The JMLBF is a non-profit corporation with 501(c)(3) application currently pending. the JMLBA is a 501(c)(6) tax-exempt, non-profit organization.
